The Jersey Shore is known by some as the MTV show where people got drunk and partied everyday. However The Shore is one of New Jerseys crown jewels with some of the most famous beaches in the country. While many people know of the big beaches such as Seaside Heights, Ocean City, and Wildwood some of the smaller beaches become forgotten. However, in the small beach town of Manasquan the locals never forget about this special place.

Almost everyone who lives in Northern Ocean County or Southern Monmouth County knows about the Manasquan Inlet. A place for many different uses such as typical uses like fishing to more social gatherings such as teens hanging out. A part of what makes the Inlet special is simply the stories behind it. A hangout place for teens in the area which has been passed down form generation to generation and the easiest way to see the history behind it is through the most interesting part of the inlet being the graffiti art. In the image below included are stories about this landmark from locals 20-year-old Maggie Jaspan and 21-year-old Steven Neff.
